The building is open to students at 8:15 a.m. Our school day begins promptly at 8:45 a.m. Car riders are dismissed at 3:35 p.m., and bus riders begin boarding buses at 3:45 p.m.
My name is Beth Schwartz, and I am the principal of Harris Elementary School. My teaching career began in special education. I was an intervention specialist with the Huron City Schools for five years. I then came to Amherst, where I taught special education at Nord Middle School for seven years. In August of 2011, I began serving as principal at Harris Elementary where we never stop learning!
