Steele Senior Jack Fedan was awarded the American Vision Medal at the 2024 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, with his piece “Study of My Grandfather” landing him a spot at the 2024 National Exhibition in New York City.
The American Visions Award is given at a national level, of which only 1-87 students in the country and 1-8 of those in Ohio were awarded. His American Visions and Gold Key piece went to New York for National judging. We are proud of Jack for this tremendous accomplishment.
Pictured below are his American Visions Piece titled "Study of My Grandfather", and his Gold Key Piece "Portrait of Lady in Lace" which went on for national judging in New York.
Jack was a junior at Marion L. Steele when he won the 2024 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. As a senior, his project is to paint administrators and teachers at Marion L. Steele, with Principal Joseph Tellier being the focal point of his recent painting. You may also see that portrait below.
