Community Relations

The Community Relations Department is committed to connecting the great things going on in our district to the community through creative media spotlights and stories featuring students, staff, and special events! Our webpage contains ways for you to get connected, like all social media handles and easy ways to follow. On this page, staff can access our process for requesting coverage or sharing. We hope you feel better connected to the district through this page. Contact us at 440-988-1939 for information!

Amherst Schools Survey

District residents, the Amherst Schools need YOUR help! Take our online survey to provide feedback on the district’s potential growth, our facilities, and more. It takes just 5-10 minutes to complete and will help us plan for our future. The survey will remain open through December 20th, so please share it with friends and family in the district. Thanks for your participation!

Comet Connect Updates

Teacher Connect

There are so many fun things going on in our district day-to-day. That is where the Requesting Media Coverage tab comes in. We have created a form to make it easy to request district coverage for an upcoming activity or event that you would like covered for community awareness.

The Event Media Sharing tab is for those unexpected moments that were too great not to capture. We have created a form that allows you to share details about what happened and provides a place to upload photos and video captured. We will then create a feature story to share!
