Once again, many of Steele High School Athletic programs will be offering Youth Summer Camps in June and July. Below, you will find the sports, dates, and links to download the form(s) for the youth camps you are interested in attending. Volleyball open gyms for girls entering the 7th and 8th grades will be held at AJH over the summer. The dates/times are June 21, 26, 28 and July 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 24 from 8:00 - 9:30 AM.
Meet the team and find out what cross country is all about with no commitment to join! The Fun Runs will be held on Fridays: June 15th, July 6th, and July 20th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Meet at the front entrance of Amherst Junior High. Athletes need to submit an Emergency Medical Authorization (EMA) to participate. No pay-to-play fee is required to participate in Fun Runs.
The first day of practice is Wednesday, August 1st from 9:30 - 11:00 AM at AJH and we practice Monday through Friday. All physicals and EMAs need to be turned in to participate on August 1st!
New - Senate Bill 252 - Lindsay's Law
In accordance with Senate Bill 252 (Lindsay's Law), the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and other stakeholders jointly developed guidelines and other relevant materials to inform and educate students and youth athletes participating in or desiring to participate in an athletic activity, their parents, and their coaches about the nature and warning signs of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).
