The Amherst Exempted Village School District is proud to announce a new 10-year naming rights partnership with Spitzer Autoworld Amherst that will officially rename Marion L. Steele High School’s football stadium to Spitzer Stadium. This long-term collaboration, running through 2034, celebrates community pride, education, and a shared commitment to the future of Amherst’s youth.
As part of the agreement, Spitzer Autoworld Amherst will contribute $25,000 per year for naming rights. Updated signage will soon appear on the scoreboard, entrance, and press box, and Spitzer will be honored at one home football game each season.
“We absolutely love being part of this community, and we couldn’t be more excited about this partnership with Amherst Schools,” said Jason Eyman, General Manager of Spitzer Amherst Chevrolet and Volkswagen. “Supporting local families, students, and future leaders is something the Spitzer family has always believed in.”
Superintendent Mike Molnar expressed gratitude for Spitzer’s investment:
“This partnership not only provides valuable resources to our district, but also sends a strong message about the importance of supporting our students, families, and the traditions that make Amherst special.”
Athletic Director Casey Wolf also praised Spitzer’s continued contributions to local athletics, noting their support of the Quarterback Club and Amherst Junior Comets.
This partnership represents more than just a new name — it’s a symbol of collaboration, dedication, and a shared vision for excellence on the field, in the classroom, and throughout the Amherst community.
