Based on the updated weather forecast, wind chill temperatures are expected to improve, so the Amherst Schools will be in session tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, for all students.
Please be sure students come dressed appropriately for winter conditions, including coats, hats, gloves, and boots. At this time, there is limited salt available, so we ask everyone to use extra caution and take their time on roads and sidewalks.
To prioritize safety, students will not be marked tardy tomorrow, as we want families to arrive safely without feeling rushed.
We’re excited to welcome students back and get back into the routine of learning. Thank you for your continued flexibility and support.

Due to a Cold Weather Advisory and low wind chill temperatures, Amherst Exempted Village Schools will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, January 28th for students and staff.
