Welcome to Marion L. Steele High School, a four-year high school with approximately 1,200 students. Here at Steele, our goal is to assist students in finding their individual pathway for success.

We are proud to offer numerous Advanced Placement (AP) courses, College Credit Plus offerings through our valued partnership with Lorain County Community College, skilled trade offerings with Lorain County JVS, award-winning Band, Choir, Orchestra, and Theatre programs, an international learning experience through travel abroad, and three specialty programs in Medical Health Technology, Steele News Live, and Navy National Defense Cadet Corps (NNDCC)!

The building is open to students at 7:15 a.m. Our school day begins promptly at 7:25 a.m. Students are dismissed at 2:25 p.m. Office hours are from 7:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Parents and/or guardians should call the attendance line at 440-988-5230 to report a student absence.
