Welcome to the Amherst Little Comets Preschool! Mary Scott Williams serves as the Preschool Director and Assistant Principal at Powers Elementary School in the Amherst Exempted Village School District. Entering her 15th year with the district, Mary Scott has proudly served the Amherst community as an Intervention Specialist at Amherst Junior High, a School Counselor at Amherst Junior High, and for the past four years as an Assistant Principal at Powers Elementary School. She is passionate about building strong relationships with children, families, and staff to ensure every student is supported, challenged, and empowered to grow. As both an educator and the mother of four children, Mary Scott understands the importance of creating a welcoming, nurturing environment where young learners can develop a lifelong love of learning. She is honored to lead Amherst Little Comets Preschool and is committed to partnering with families to provide exceptional early childhood experiences for every child.
